Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
200 episodes. Six years of showing up, learning, evolving, and getting the wins.
In this milestone episode of the 90 Day Wins Podcast, SandyB sits down with a very special guest, her daughter Sydnee, for an honest and fun conversation reflecting on the journey from Episode 1 to Episode 200.
What started as a way for Coach SandyB to use her voice and encourage people to intentionally pursue their goals every 90 days has grown into hundreds of conversations about accountability, confidence, resilience, entrepreneurship, personal growth, and taking action.
Along the way came plenty of lessons, from learning how to record and edit a podcast to embracing video, investing in the craft, navigating difficult seasons, and continuing to show up when things did not go as planned.
Sydnee turns the mic on her mom and asks the questions: What has 200 episodes taught her about discipline and consistency? Which conversations changed her personally? What has been the hardest part of the journey? Why do people continue to struggle with goals they say matter to them? And after reaching 200 episodes, where does the podcast go from here?
Coach SandyB also shares why achieving meaningful goals requires more than motivation. It takes belief, sacrifice, repetition, investment, and the willingness to keep moving when things get uncomfortable.
And Episode 200 isn't only about looking back. It's about what's next.
Expect more in-person conversations, more travel, deeper storytelling, solo episodes, new series, conversations with people stretching beyond what they thought possible, and an even stronger focus on execution.
The next chapter of 90 Day Wins is already in motion.

90 Day Winds Podcast, episode 200. This is your host, Coach Sandy B. I am so excited to be here, and I have a special guest today. Welcome, Sydney. How are you doing today?
SPEAKER_03I'm doing great. How are you?
SPEAKER_02I'm excited. We are here, and we're on location for the taping, the recording of our episode 200. We are so excited. Let me tell you, 200. Sydney, I'm pretty excited that I'm at this milestone.
SPEAKER_03Yes, there's a lot of episodes. A lot of recording, a lot of editing, a lot of editing, a lot of editing.
SPEAKER_02A lot of editing, a lot of frustration, lots of changes. Yes. And in those changes, I've learned a whole lot. And today I'm excited that you're here because you are going to help me reflect on where we've been these last 200 episodes. And then let's talk about what the future is for 90 Day Wins because the future is bright.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02Let's get started. Let me know what you have for me because I'm not quite sure what these questions are. So please let me know what you have to talk to us about today.
SPEAKER_03All right. My first question is when you've recorded episode one, what did you believe the podcast would become? And how has that vision changed over the last 200 episodes?
SPEAKER_02Episode one. It was all about using my voice. It was all about letting everyone know that they could achieve their goals every 90 days. They could show up and be intentional and get their wins. But simply it was a way for me to use my voice and to get the message of achieving goals every 90 days. So that's really what the catalyst was for those first couple of episodes. Really just creating the framework, letting people know that they can take action and achieve their goals. That really was what the initial vision was for the podcast.
SPEAKER_03Okay. And then for my second question, which is kind of related to your first question, what would you say what was the hardest thing to get over when you first started? What was the toughest challenge within your first couple of episodes?
SPEAKER_02I think the the challenge within the first couple of episodes was just learning the different software and being comfortable speaking on the mic and just going through the reps of it, making sure I was getting guests that were interesting to initially start off. So I think that was it. Just getting comfortable with the reps of it, using the different softwares. And I'm grateful that I had trusted advisors who were there along the journey with me who really helped me see that I could do it.
SPEAKER_03I'm waiting for you to say editing.
SPEAKER_02So here's the thing those first couple of ones, I didn't have to worry about it too much because I had a trusted advisor that helped me.
SPEAKER_01But once you had to do it by yourself.
SPEAKER_02Once I had to do it by myself, that's a whole different story, right? Like it was frustrating, you know, understanding, like I said, the the different softwares that I was using and really finding the ones that work for me, right? Because I went through a couple and just learning that it's a part of the journey. You get the tools, you figure it out, you like how it works, you don't like how it works, you like the sound, you want to change the sound, you want to use all the bells and whistles of the new software. So it's just the growing pains of you developing this skill as a podcaster.
SPEAKER_03For my next question, looking back, what has producing 200 episodes taught you about discipline, consistency, and showing up even when life gets hard?
SPEAKER_02Producing 200 episodes has taught me that you can stretch yourself, you can learn, you can put in the reps, you can find your sweet spot, and that looks different from everyone, and that's okay because what I'm doing is similar in that I'm creating a podcast, but it's unique and different because of the questions I ask and because of the people that I interview. And even based on the time that we are in, right? Currently, I mean, when I started this podcast, we were in the beginning of COVID, episode 41. You were on that episode with me. You evolve and you put in those reps and you learn. And for me, it's still so very exciting. It feels like I've just only gotten started, even with 200 episodes.
SPEAKER_03Okay. And then the question I have about that is what have you, what do you feel changed the most from the beginning to now?
SPEAKER_02So much has changed. One of the big things is the video aspect of podcasting. And so many people that want to see video. There are so many people when I talk to them about the podcast, they want to know about the YouTube channel, which is awesome, right? Because we are definitely growing the YouTube channel. And this will be on the YouTube channel. But that is a major thing because now you have to be focused on audio as well as video. So it has stretched me, it has expanded my understanding of things. When you think of vertical content, short form content, all the things, shorts, reels. And so to stay viable and to stay in this game, I've had to stretch myself and learn and grow. And so that's the biggest thing for me, though, to know that initially I was really just mainly focused on the audio. And now video is such a big part of podcasting and what I do.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that has changed a lot because you were one of the what's the word, trailblazers for podcasts. You had it before everyone thought it was cool. So what do you feel about that? How you feel about being one of the grandfathered-in podcasters, if you will.
SPEAKER_02I think it's exciting because I always like to be one of the firsts of things, right? And and, you know, like my sorority first, but I digress. I think that there's room for everyone. So one of the main things people always ask me is, you know, I'd love to start a podcast. Do you think I could do it? Of course you can. It requires a lot of work, like we talked about, right? And dedication and consistency. But it is doable and it is something that I enjoy, and it is something that I want to continue to grow with. So as new people come along and they're learning and they ask me questions, I don't feel uncomfortable in any way because it has evolved so much, right? So in this space that we're in of podcasting, I think you have to be okay with change and you have to be willing to be fluid as things move. So at first I was just like, yeah, I'm not even thinking about video. Now I'm just like, video is important.
SPEAKER_03As we have three cameras.
SPEAKER_02As we do have three cameras because it's very important. Yes.
SPEAKER_03Yes. All right. And then for my next question, 90 Day Winds has always focused on execution. After six years and 200 episodes, why do you think people still struggle to act on the goals they say matter most?
SPEAKER_02Great question. I think people struggle to focus on the goals they say matter most, is because they get caught up with what other people think and they don't believe that they can actually do the thing they desire to do. It requires you to achieve your goals and to continuously show up for yourself every 90 days, it requires you to have a sense of belief that is unrational. Because if you would have asked me six years ago if I would have been here, I don't know that I could have envisioned it. But I've I've allowed myself to dream, I've allowed myself to grow, I've allowed myself to stretch, I've allowed myself to fall down and get back up to have that podcast episode that was horrible. The recording didn't sound good. So I had to call the guests and ask if we could re-record. I've allowed myself to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to grow this craft, to make sure I have the right equipment, to make sure I'm in the room to learn. And all of those things require dedication and sacrifice, right? And that's what our goals require. If you want to achieve your goals, you have to be willing to sacrifice, whether it's time, whether it's money. You know, I could be hanging out with my girlfriends doing any number of things, but I choose to grow my podcast. I choose to grow my coaching business. So it's really just believing what is important to you and then putting effort to achieve it. So to answer your question, people will always struggle if they don't make it a priority to work on the thing that's important to them. So they always need a coach like me to help them on their journey. You gotta be delusional to believe every 90 days you're gonna show up and achieve your goals. Every day you're going to say, I will win the day, even though things will happen within the day. Are you going to give up or are you going to say, I'm going to still keep moving forward? You know, we had some challenges today, but did we give up? Did we get frustrated, or did we decide we're going to continue to move, we're going to continue to show up, and we're definitely going to get our wins.
SPEAKER_03Yes. All right, for my next question. Yes. Which conversation or moment on the podcast changed you personally, not just to your audience? Yeah. And why?
SPEAKER_02Tough, tough question. Because there are so many beautiful moments that I've experienced on the podcast. So moments that have changed me personally. Wow. So many, honestly. When I think of the many entrepreneurs that I have interviewed in the past who have experienced some life-changing things. Some people, one of my oldest guests, she talked about her family home was burnt down and they had to rebuild and make changes. My friend who left her corporate job to start her brick and mortar business. There have been so many episodes, my episodes with my family members. I mean, you and I had an amazing episode 41 talking about love. So there are so many episodes that have impacted me so greatly. There were some episodes that I did initially in the beginning where I was sharing so much personally because there was so much going on in the world. I believe episode 11 is one that's memorable where I'm talking about how I felt about what occurred where George Floyd was murdered. So that really changed me because I didn't expect to share as much emotion with the audience. And I think about recently I shared an episode about a little bit about the loss of my mother recently. So that episode changed me, I believe, because yet again I was being vulnerable with the audience. So there are episodes where I feel like they have ignited the fire within literally where I want to take action and do some things. But there are also episodes where I have allowed myself to be vulnerable and to let you know that it's okay to not be okay. Right. And that's a part of the journey of you figuring out what works, but you're still moving forward and you're still getting your wins. I mean, I had an amazing episode of Maxi Priest, where we talked about how he was handling COVID and how he was still making music and working with different artists and showing up and finding the joy in the little things like being out in nature. So there's so many good episodes, honestly.
SPEAKER_03Okay, so now since we're gonna get specific, what is your favorite episode that you have recorded in? Does it have to be because of the person? Yeah. Or because of how easy it was to do, but what is your favorite most what came to like what comes to the top of your head right now? Favorite episode.
SPEAKER_02Favorite episode in the top of my mind.
SPEAKER_03Right now. Don't think too hard. I mean it pops it up. What's the first thing? You take it too long. What's the first thing?
SPEAKER_02Episode one.
SPEAKER_03Episode one? Your very first one?
SPEAKER_02Because that was me just showing up authentic, saying, hey, come with me on this journey. Come get your wins every 90 days. So that that's yeah, if I had to, if you're gonna nail it to, but honestly, there's so many good episodes where I just got to really talk to some phenomenal goal getters that I'm forever grateful for.
SPEAKER_03Okay. I'll take that answer.
SPEAKER_02You'll take that answer.
SPEAKER_03That's all right. And then what would you say was your most challenging episode to record? And not saying like either the person was difficult, or you feel like whether it brought out so much emotion for you that it like made it difficult for you to like, should I post this, should I not post this? Or as in something more along those lines? That type of difficulty.
SPEAKER_02Well, that's a good question because I this episode has not been released yet. Because you know, I'll probably be released by this concept. No. No. Yeah, because I batch record. Yes, I have quite a few batch recordings with entrepreneurs.
SPEAKER_03We'll see it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. So this one, when you said it, I, you know, just off the top of my head, this one was difficult because yet again, I think the ones that are a little more challenging for me are the ones where I'm being reflective and I'm sharing about what I've experienced and lessons that I've learned. Your passion should already be paying you. If you're tired of watching the months roll by without the progress, you know you're capable of it's time to make a move. The win collective is where you stop thinking about your goals and start executing daily guidance, real accountability, and a community that refuses to let you play small. This is where ideas turn into income and consistency becomes your new normal. If you want this year to look different, you can't keep doing the same things. Join the win collective today and start monetizing your passion right now. Don't wait. Your next win won't happen without you. So if you're feeling the pull to reignite your passion and finally monetize what you love, you're not alone, my friends. That's exactly why I built the win collective on school. It's my private community where you will take action and we'll do it together. It's free to join and it's where the real connection and accountability happens. Join today. So this one was difficult. Not so much that I wouldn't want to share it, but it was, I remember feeling at one point, based on the questions of what I asked, I got a little choked up and a little emotional thinking about it. And even now, when I think about this episode, it coming out, some of the things that I've talked about, because it was batched, some of the people that I talked about are physically aren't here. So it's just like, mm, that one when I think about it, like, oh, that was, yeah, it was kind of difficult.
SPEAKER_03It was a little spicy. It was a little spicy.
SPEAKER_02And you know, I had to be honest with myself about how I was feeling about things and how I was showing up and answering things and dealing with people who are very close to me. So that episode, I believe, uh was good, but it was, yeah, it was a little emotionally taken. Yes, yes, yes.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Right. And then let's see. My final question, yeah. As you celebrate episode 200, what's the vision for the next 200 episodes? 200 episodes, and what legacy do you want the 90 Day Winds podcast to leave for future goalgetters?
SPEAKER_02Wow. When I think of legacy, I think of impact. And I want the impact for this podcast to always be you can take action, you can move with intention, you can do those things that maybe seem difficult or out of reach. So when I think about the next 200 episodes, we are continuing the journey. We're having those difficult but meaningful conversations with people from multiple walks of life. And that's one of the things I love to have the freedom to be able to really engage with people that are from different communities, different backgrounds and careers, and get to the heart of why they are motivated to do the work they do. So definitely more of that. I want to go and be where the people are. And I don't want to be limited by always having to do remote interviews. So that's why it was really important to me to be able to have this interview in person, in person and not in my home studio, because this is exactly where we're going. So when you tell me to think about where the next 200 episodes are going, that's where we're going. And we are traveling. So, you know, I like to say we win together, but also we win on the road, right? So wherever we are, we can choose to show up and win. That's where I envision us going. I'm super excited. I feel so honored and so blessed to be on this journey and to have so many people who really appreciate the work that I do. And I think it's only up from here.
SPEAKER_03Okay. So I let have one more question.
SPEAKER_02All right.
SPEAKER_03So if you can get us a little sneak peek into the future, is there any specific vision? I know you don't like to share all your visions before you get it done. Yes, yes. Is there any specific vision that you would like to see for your next at least hundred episodes, let's say?
SPEAKER_02We're talking a lot about execution.
SPEAKER_03Like any, like, you know how you did a couple series? Any like series you are you like looking at?
SPEAKER_02Yes. Yes. So I have a special series that I'm doing that I can't really share too much because we are literally in the final planning stages before we start recording. But I'm super excited about it because we are asking some very specific questions and we are talking about new things. So sometimes when I talk to different people, they are working on that thing, but I'm talking, these people are stretching themselves, right? So they are doing things that they've not done before. And in doing that, they're sharing their wins, they're sharing their lessons, or also sharing their why. And you know, why is very important. That's the thing that's going to continue to keep you going when you think about why you're doing. When I think about why I'm doing this podcast, I want to get my 90-day wins message out, right? So that motivates me to get up, to research, to make sure I have the right equipment, to make sure I'm aligned with the people that can help me on my journey. So that's where we're going. We are really getting more in-depth coverage and conversation. And I'm doing a lot more solo episodes where I talk to you about stories and share information that is important to help you to obviously, you know, not procrastinate, to take that action. And I'm doing a lot of work with people who are desiring to start their podcast, which you know I'm really excited about. As a coach, I want to help people achieve those things they desire to achieve. So being able to help someone create their podcast is exciting for me. I've been doing it for a couple of years now, and I've had a couple of people ask me about joining a cohort. So I'm working on some things. I'm working on some things. It's an exciting time, and I believe it's never too late for you to start a new goal. And it's never too late to move yourself closer to that thing you desire to achieve.
SPEAKER_03Okay. I'll take that answer too.
SPEAKER_02Yes. So I thank you so much for being here. And I thank you for taking time because I know you are a busy woman. So taking the time to be here and to spend this time with me and to celebrate with me means a lot because I know it hasn't been easy these last six years. You've seen me really make this podcast a priority. So, how has it been for you, if I could ask you a question? How has it been for you having your mom become this podcaster and really be very determined and focused on what she wants to achieve?
SPEAKER_03A lot of being quiet, a lot of sacrifices of like, oh, okay, this is her space.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03No one else go here. But I don't have to benefit quite a bit. I get to be in your chair. I get to use your desk when you're not there. I love her desk. She has a great nice desk. No, it like lifts and it's great. It's wonderful. Get to use her mic when you're not there. I don't think you know too much about that, but that's okay.
SPEAKER_02Wow.
SPEAKER_03But yeah, I get to benefit off the little things that you do. And then I get to also do things like when you get opportunities when you get to go somewhere. Yeah. I can also go that place. I'm like, oh, okay, this is cool. So just getting the little trickles of benefits from you.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah. I appreciate that. And I I know that each step we take, it's important to have the people that are willing to help us achieve it. And you and your dad have really showed up for me in an amazing ways. So I feel like this is a celebration. That we get to have together as a family because you guys have allowed me the time and the space. I mean, I remember there are times where you know, you guys like to ask me what's for dinner, and I'm like, uh, really? Like, I'm working on this podcast, I'm working on this book. I am achieving my goals. I don't have time for this.
SPEAKER_03Like, you were never really the dinner person, anyways.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, my husband is an amazing cook. I'm grateful. Let's talk about you. Before I let you go, let me know about how you're doing. You know, last time we spoke to you, you were in what, was it high school?
SPEAKER_03Yes, I was freshman, no. Was I? No, yeah, freshman year, I think.
SPEAKER_02Or you were it was during COVID.
SPEAKER_03It was 2021.
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_03So I think my freshman year of high school. Yeah. Online.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And I'm now a sophomore in college. Yeah. About to be a junior in college, actually.
SPEAKER_02So how does that feel?
SPEAKER_03It was great. I hated high school.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, high school was very interesting for you. Especially the well, the whole four years were interesting.
SPEAKER_03I don't know.
SPEAKER_02But you survived.
SPEAKER_03I did.
SPEAKER_02And now you're a whole college student, and so how's your world looking? I I think you're having a great summer. What do you think?
SPEAKER_03I'm having a great summer. It's funny because as this one likes to say a lot, to getting my goal. So I made a goal of like, okay, I'm gonna say yes to everything this summer, I'm gonna do everything this summer. And the thing is, I'll make the goal and I'm like, okay, I make all the plans, and I'm like, I have to go to those.
SPEAKER_02You have to do it. Execution, my love.
SPEAKER_03But it's not even I don't want to, I just you gotta get yourself victims. I was like, I know I literally said I was gonna do everything, but like I'm You have sag girl. I heard like I'm I'm I'm outside outside. I'm in those streets. Like, you see that, that's me. But you're also working and yeah, working, and I don't have to take a summer class this summer, so that's great. I had to do a couple over the last couple, so like that's why I was like, okay.
SPEAKER_02So what else? You've been manifesting some big things, you know.
SPEAKER_03I drive everywhere now.
SPEAKER_02That's that's pretty cool.
SPEAKER_03I'm in the A. A town. Catch me. Catch me in the A, baby. Catch me in the A. So yeah.
SPEAKER_02Good summer.
SPEAKER_03Yes. Are you having a good summer? You haven't done much. We haven't done six bags actually.
SPEAKER_02I haven't tried six bags with a I will go to six bags with you. I haven't done that much yet this summer, but you have a trip coming up. I have a trip coming up very, very soon. I actually have two trips coming up very soon. So I'm really looking forward to that. Gonna spend some time with my amazing friends, and then you and I are going to get away for an amazing time. So yeah, it's it's you know this year has been interesting, as you know. So I feel as if I was telling someone the other day, like the the the fog of sadness has dissipated. And that is well, that is well. So I am ready to just get fully into what I love to do and how I love to do it, and just give thanks to be able to do that. So that's literally what we're doing right now. Yes. So we're winning. We are literally what we're doing right now. So yeah, this summer is filled with exciting things. I have right here with me our 90-day wins execution journal that I'm super proud of, that is launching next month. So don't get you one. There's there's so much going on. Definitely get your copy. And I'm continuing to show up, get my wins. We have our win collective community that's on school where we are committed to showing up and doing the work. So shout out my win collective. Woo woo woo! What's up, fam? So yeah, wins, wins, wins.
SPEAKER_03There you go.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so I got my wins. Yes. The win collective, we're building, we're growing, we're showing up. In every step, in every movement this year, it's about intention. This third quarter, we're executing our goals, we're taking action. 200 episodes celebrating, getting our wins, girl. That's what it's about. Because we're goal getters. Thank you. Thank you for being here. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for our amazing, our amazing engineer here. And he's gonna be soon. So, yeah, we're about to have some cake. We have a concert, reggae concert we're going to tonight. So there's lots going on. So, yeah, goal getters, show up, be intentional and get your wins.
SPEAKER_03Get your wins.
SPEAKER_02Coach Sandy V here, and my lovely guest sit here with me, and we're showing up, doing the work, getting our wins. We out.
SPEAKER_00In every quarter, I'll be picking the wins. I'm time ready, I be getting the wins. I'm young Cobra, I be getting the wins. I'm young Floyd, I be getting the wins.
